Away Resorts have established a wonderful new tropical resort near Koh Chang in the Gulf of Thailand on the little known Island of Koh Kood (Ko Kood or Gaw Kood). Koh Kood is south of Koh Chang and very close to Cambodian waters. The resort has private shuttle boats and can assist with transport to get there from almost all destinations in Thailand. Ko Kood is approximately 3 hours south of Trad which is the main destination to get to Koh Chang.

Harvey, a scuba diving intern at Mermaids dive center, Pattaya Thailand has done a very good job. Completing his internship with Mermaids in 2005 he was employed and worked with Mermaids until August 2007 doing and excellent job indeed. Harvey began working as a scuba diving instructor and is now managing the dive resort in Koh Kood!

The area is a great get away and largely unexplored and this goes for scuba diving also. Harvey and his team are having to discover new and exciting dive sites for divers to enjoy.
